When a designer gets it right, there is something so pristine, so perfect about the clothes that it almost deems you speechless. And here we have 3.1 Philip Lim. The Fall 2012 line is perfect. The clothes are fresh, clean, tailored and simply gorgeous. The hint of color creates a story that is aesthetically beautiful and realistic. The cut of the pants in the line is outstanding; I am particularly fond of the front slit pant, which is so new and so subtly fashionable. The black suit with the gold boots might be my favorite look of all. I appreciate how any and all of these clothes would fit into the life of an active, busy New York City woman. Hats off to Philip Lim.
