Summer weather lets people get away with a whole lot when making fashion choices. I am someone who sees lingerie as something to be worn underneath clothing; it should not take on another identity and transform into a would-be top or dress. However, when I saw this collage of the "sparkling bra", worn by blogger Hanneli Mustarpa, my notions of appropriate attire were challenged. I love the subtlety in her wardrobe choice; the gray t-shirt is an awesome pairing with what could have been an ostentatious and rather trashy looking bra. It tames down the undergarment and makes it chic, classy and feminine. So hats off to you, Ms. Mustarpa. You made me see things in a whole new light!
