The braid has been an amazing fashion wonder in recent weeks. As someone who never seems to have hair long enough to pull it off, I remain in awe of how beautiful, how subtle, how dramatic and how versatile a well done braid can be. I have come to appreciate anything that can blend with different looks and vibes. The most formal pieces can be worn with a braid, often creating an ethereal, whimsical element to what can be otherwise traditional and uptight. The braid seems to be one of the few styles that accomplishes that task.
