Casual Chic

http://becauseimaddicted.net/, http://speakprada.blogspot.com/

These are some of the most fantastic outfits that I have seen in recent weeks. I find myself captivated by women who can strike the awesome balance of chic and casual. To start, the combination grey top, orange pants and leather jacket is outstanding, fierce and somehow doesn't look costumey or strange. I also love the universality of the colored pant; men and women alike are sporting this look and it is really wearable. The leather jacket is incredible and might be a purchase on mine someday soon. I have an obsession with all white this spring and Alexa Chung does it right. And the suspenders are fantastic, offering a splurge of sass and confidence. The black clutch is phenomenal, something that easily jazzes up a casual look. Though I am not a huge fan of shorts, there is something sexy and simple about jean shorts and white tee and a metallic blazer. And finally, Taylor Tomasi is the perfect manifestation of casual chic. She is my ultimate fashion role model, and one day, I hope to grow up and be just like her!

  1. I agree with your thoughts on the orange pants. They are special but not the "too-much" like many colour-pieces are. It looks perfectly right on her.
