The Grand Palais, a Parisian fantasy land that is second to none, served as the focal point to a recent fashion moment that embodied the reincarnation of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Chanel's Fall-Winter 2010/2011 Haute Couture show was hauntingly beautiful, fantastical and desirable. The overwhelming god statue gave incredible drama to each moment, balancing gracefully the statuesque models and their dazzling clothes. I particularly appreciate the open-minded approach and freedom of color which made so many pieces stunning, unusual and aptly Chanel. Wish I could have been there myself!
