Summer and the living is easy....
It's finally summer. I have come out of my shell, painted toes and all, and I'm ready for a more natural, more elegant summer look. I love color but I also love the all white craze. I love patterns and a more monochromatic look. I have found Clinique's chubby stick and blush. I have found Birkenstocks again and I am happy. So here's to a great summer of simplicity.

Ralph Lauren: Pink and White story
Ralph Lauren is a genius.... The color story here is amazing and the textures and styling are amazing. Such an incredible visionary.
Menswear for Women
Menswear for women, in its most flattering form... Spring is almost here and maybe we'll be able to show some skin soon. In the meantime, this will suffice.

Post Fashion Week Malaise...
I've been out of it in terms of fashion week this fall but I get myself together enough to take in some of the sights. I love some of the looks I found here, a smattering of outfits from Paris fashion week thanks to Garance Dore and Scott Schuman. An all out good job done on all fronts.

Street Fashion: Fall 2013
It's that time of your again. People from NYC to Paris are adding a little fashion pep to their step by sporting some of the most fabulous ensembles out there. I appreciate that, especially since the summer is winding down and I am starting to get excited about sweaters, coats, boots and all the other fashion elements that scream Fall. So here's to creativity, to cutting edge and to bringing your best self out for Fall.

White!
I love when women are confident enough to wear white. It is part practical, given the heat, and part fashionable. It is crisp and light and lovely. Enjoy the summer weather!

Curvaceous K
It's been a while since I have been moved by a fashion moment, but I am quickly reminded of the value of fashion, the power it possesses, when I learned about a new boutique that caters to "real size" women. Given that the majority of women do not fall into the very slim (for lack of a better term) margins of the models we see walking the runways, it is refreshing to find opportunities for fuller figured women to have access to stylish, modern clothing.
Curvaceous K is a New York City store recently opened by Kathy Sanchez, the visionary behind building a space where women, sizes 14 and above, can find fashionable clothing to fit many lifestyles. With a clear, critical eye, she selects some really lively pieces that can stand alone or can be integrated into an already fabulous wardrobe. Check out Kathy's store; it's worth it!
